On January 25, 1915 at the National Sporting Club in London, England Tancy Lee and Jimmy Wilde fought for the vacant British and European Flyweight titles and the IBU Flyweight Title. Wilde weighed in fully-dressed, but Lee was 8-10lbs heavier. The size advantage worked for Lee who wore Wilde down and stopped him in the 17th round. This is an original, advertising boxing silk which pictures Jimmy Wilde at center and specifies the fight at bottom. Wilde is pictured with his colors flanking him on the corners. Bold color and print. Bold, clear image. No fraying on edges. No tears. Has a small stain at lower left. Beautiful in every way. 33" x 33." Exceedingly rare.
