Ed "Too Tall" Jones enjoyed one of the great careers of any defensive player in Dallas Cowboy history. Jones also attempted a career in professional boxing. From 1979 to 1980 he fought in six contests winning all of them before retiring. Offered here is the original boxing license issued in Mississippi for Ed "Too Tall" Jones for the period beginning January 25, 1980.
This license is blank backed and printed on heavy stock. Two minor pin holes. No creases or tears. Color and print are bold. Raised commission stamp. 2 3/8" x 3 7/8."
