On May 9, 1908 at the Mission Street Arena in Colma, California Stanley Ketchel defended his claim to the middleweight title against tough Jack "Twin" Sullivan. Ketchel prevailed stopping Sullivan in the 20th round. Offered here is a rare original, first generation photo taken by the notable Dana Studios depicting the two fighters squaring off in the ring before the start of the bout.
