LEWIS, HEDGEMON-ERNIE "INDIAN RED" LOPEZ II ON SITE POSTER (1969)

On July 10, 1969 at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles welterweights Hedgemon Lewis and Ernie "Indian Red" Lopez fought in the main event. These two fought a year earlier and Lopez stopped Lewis. In this rematch the future world champion Lewis prevailed winning a unanimous ten round decision. Offered here is a scarce, original, on site poster for this event.
