LEWIS, TED "KID"-AUGIE RATNER ANTIQUE WIRE PHOTO (1923)

On July 30, 1923 at Royal Albert Hall in London, England middleweights Ted "Kid" Lewis and Augie Ratner battled in the main event. Ratner won a 20 round decision. This fight was mostly at close quarters, with Ratner pounding away at Lewis's left side and winning decisively. Offered here is an original wire photo of the two in action.
