Charlie Longo was a welterweight contender who fought from 1929 to 1937 amassing a record of 13-8. He was born in Boston on January 11, 1911 and passed away on December 26, 1976. Offered here is an original letter which has been boldly signed by Charlie Longo. Comes with original envelope and was written to boxing historian and collector Floyd "Red" Taylor.
This is a one page, typed letter. Boldly signed in ink. Bold print. Clean front and back. Includes original folds. 8 1/2" x 11." Very scarce signature of this early 20th century fighter.
