Rocky Marciano fought Joe Walcott on May 15, 1953 at Chicago Stadium. It was their second fight with each other and Marciano knocked Walcott out in the 1st round to successfully defend his World Heavyweight Title. This fight was originally scheduled for April 10, 1953, but was postponed one month. Offered here is an original mailing envelope used to advertise the original date for this fight.
This is an original, unused mailing envelope. Bold color and print. Clean front and back. Not creased or torn. One minor compression, but no hole. 4" x 9 1/2."
