HISTORY: Jack McCarron was an American middleweight boxer who fought between 1909 and 1924. McCarron was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on August 10, 1890. He was an important figure in the division and fought many notable contenders and champions including : Billy Miske, George Chip, Mike McTigue, Jack Dillon, Jack Delaney, Jeff Smith, Jack Blackburn, Buck Crouse, Mike Donovan, Mike Gibbons, Young Stribling, Soldier Bartfield and Joe Borrell. Offered here is an original, first generation, mounted photograph of Jack McCarron which is dated April 14, 1914 on the back.
