HISTORY: Jimmy McLarnin was born on December 19, 1906 in Inchacore, Ireland. He won the World Welterweight Title in a bout against Young Corbett III on May 29, 1933. He retired after fighting Lou Ambers on November 20, 1936 with a final record of 63-11-3 with 20 KO's. Presented here is a vintage signed photo of Jimmy McLarnin.
FULL DESCRIPTION: Jimmy McLarnin has boldly signed this 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" photo in black ink. He has inscribed it, "To my Friend Pat Hennessy Sincerely- Jimmy McLarnin." There is some light soiling in the lower left side and there is a small tear in that area. There are several creases along the top edge and along the right side. Clean signature. No rips or tears.
