NORTON, KEN-JIMMY YOUNG FULL TICKET (1977)

On November 5, 1977 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas heavyweights Jimmy Young and Ken Norton fought in what was termed a title elimination bout. Norton prevailed winning a close 15 round split decision. Shortly after this fight, Norton was awarded the WBC title as Leon Spinks chose to defend against Muhammad Ali instead of Norton, who was their #1 contender. Offered here is a very rare, full, unused ticket to this event.
This is an original, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Not creased or torn. Clean. Stub Firmly attached. Bold color and print. Paper on back from mounting. 2" x 5." Rare full ticket from fight which gave Ken Norton his claim for the heavyweight title.
