Philadelphia Jack O'Brien was born on January 17, 1878 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He won the Light Heavyweight Title from Bob Fitzsimmons on December 20, 1905. He retired after fighting Ben Koch on June 17, 1912 with a final record of 148-12-19 with 51 KO's. This photo also pictures Young Jack O'Brien and Jack McCarron. Presented here is a signed photo by all 3.
Philadelphia Jack O'Brien, Young Jack O'Brien and Jack McCarron have all boldly signed this 8" x 10" photo in white ink. It has been inscribed, "To: Our Friend & Adviser Jack Ballahau with good wishes From- The Three Jacks." It has been dated May 1913. The corners are all creased, the lower left corner more so. There are additional creases along the left edge. No rips or tears. Clean signatures.
