HISTORY: On September 24, 1940 at the New York Coliseum in New York bantamweights Lou Salica and Georgie Pace battled for the NBA version of the world bantamweight championship. The fight was originally scheduled for August 22nd, but was postponed. Salica prevailed winning a 15 round decision over Pace.
Offered here is an advertising card for this fight which has been signed by Jack Dempsey.
