HISTORY: On February 4, 1990 at the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas IBF Featherweight champion Jorge Paez made his 6th title defense, this time against Troy Dorsey, the NABF featherweight champion. Paez won a very close and controversial 12 round, split decision. Paez made weight on his second attempt. Dorsey entered the fight as the IBF #6 featherweight contender. Dorsey was knocked down once in the 2nd round. A very controversial decision, many noted it as a robbery.
