PERALTA, JOE INK SIGNATURE

Joey (Jose) Peralta (B-8/25/1918, D-12/2/2000) was a Mexican born lightweight contender who fought from 1934 until 1950 compiling a record of 51-69-16. Peralta fought numerous champions and important contenders including Willie Pep, Jackie Wilson, Ike Williams, Bobby Ruffin, Bob Montgomery, Chalky Wright, Sammy Angott and Lenny Mancini. Offered here is an ink signature of Joey Peralta.
This is an original ink signature on heavy card stock. Boldly signed in ink, "My Dear Friend I am sending you my autograph and best wishes Joe Peralta Lightweight Champion of Mexico. Date stamped at lower right corner, January 5, 1944. Clean front and back. Not creased or torn. 3" x 3 1/2."
