On September 9, 1949 at the City Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska world welterweight champion Sugar Ray Robinson fought Bennie Evans in a non title match. Robinson dominated and stopped Evans in the 5th round. Offered here is a rare, original, official program for this event.
Yhis is a 1 page, original, official program which pictures the fighters and includes a full bout listing. Neatly scored in type. Clipped corners at upper left and lower right. Has a mild center fold. Clean. Blank backed. 5 3/4" x 9 1/2." Rare, the only we have seen.
