On June 28, 1948 welterweight champion Sugar Ray Robinson fought Bernard Docusen at Comiskey Park in Chicago with his title on the line. Robinson won a unanimous 15 round decision in defense of his title. Offered here is a scarce original wire photo depicting Robinson over the fallen Docusen.
