HISTORY: On July 12, 1946 at Madison Square Garden in New York rising welterweight star Sugar Ray Robinson fought Joe Curcio in the main event. Robinson knocked Curcio out in the 2nd round. Robinson knocked out Curcio at the end of the first round. Joe could not recover and was counted out in his corner at the start of the second round. Curcio supporters were angered by this and stormed the ring. Offered here is an original, official program to this event.
