On October 29, 1980 at the Catholic Youth Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania welterweights Kevin Rooney and Curtis Pittman battled in a scheduled 8 rounder. Rooney knocked out Pittman, a replacement for originally scheduled Johnny Davis, in the very first round. Offered here is an original, official program for this event. Kevin Rooney would go to become the trainer of heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.
