SADDLER, SANDY WIRE PHOTO (1955)

: Sandy Saddler was born on June 23, 1926 in Boston, Mass. He won the World Featherweight Title on October 29, 1948 from Willie Pep. He later went on to win the World Junior Lightweight Title in a bout with Orlando Zulueta on December 6, 1949. He announced his retirement on January 21, 1957 with a final record of 144-16-2 with 103 KO's. Presented here is an original wirephoto of Saddler.
