SUGGS, CHICK-JOE RYDER ON SITE POSTER (1924)

On December 13, 1924 at the Commonwealth Sporting Club in New York bantamweights Chick Suggs and Joe Ryder squared off in an important division bout. Suggs won a 12 round decision. Offered here is a very rare on site poster from this event.
This is an original on site poster. It is cardboard picturing both fighters with interesting cartoon caricatures of Suggs. Has three creases. Border chipping at bottom left corner. Some surface soiling. Images and print are bold. Framed. Extremely rare and quite possibly unique. 21" x 27."
