THIL, MARCEL WIRE PHOTO

Marcel Thil was born on May 25, 1904 in Saint-Dizier, France. He won the World Middleweight Title on June 11, 1932 from Gorilla Jones. He also held the French Middleweight, European Middleweight, and European Light Heavyweight titles. He announced his retirement on February 17, 1938 with a final record of 113-22-13 with 54 KO's.
