TUNNEY, GENE SIGNED LETTER (1932)

Gene Tunney was born May 25, 1897 in New York City. He won the American Light Heavyweight Title on January 13, 1922 in a bout with Battling Levinsky. He won the World Heavyweight Title on September 23, 1926 against Jack Dempsey. His final record was 77-1-3 with 45 KO's. Presented here is a signed letter from Gene Tunney dated February 10, 1932 in which he thanks a person for theater tickets.
This is a one page, typed letter on Gene Tunney letterhead. Boldly signed in fountain pen ink, "Gene Tunney." Includes the original folds. No tears. Clean front and back. 7 1/4" x 10 1/2."
