On July 22, 1931 at Ebbet's Field in Brooklyn, New York heavyweights Mickey Walker and Jack Sharkey fought in a fight billed as a World Heavyweight Championship. After 15 rounds this fight was declared a draw. Offered here is an original wire photo showing Mickey Walker and his manager Jack Kearns at Walker's training camp in Orangeburg the day before the fight.
