Mickey "The Toy Bulldog" Walker won the World Welterweight Title on November 1, 1922 defeating Jack Britton in 15 rounds. He successfully defended the title six times before losing it to Pete Latzo on May 20, 1926. He won the World Middleweight Title on December 3, 1926 defeating Tiger Flowers in 10 rounds. He successfully defended that title three times. Posted a career mark of 115-21-4 with 22 no decisions and 1 no contest. In addition to Britton and Flowers he posted career victories over Maxie Rosenbloom, Ace Hudkins, Paul Berlenbach, Mike McTigue, Dave Shade, and Lew Tendler. Presented here is an original wirephoto of Mickey Walker clowning around with "Kingfish" Levinsky.
