WALKER, MICKEY SIGNED PHOTO (FROM JACK SHARKEY FIGHT)

On July 22, 1931 at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, New York Jack Sharkey and Mickey Walker fought in a fight billed as a heavyweight championship. At the end of 15 rounds the fight was declared a draw. Offered here is an action photograph of the fight which has been signed by Mickey Walker.
This is a sepia tone action photograph of the two fighters. Boldly signed in ink, "To my pal Vince Mickey Walker." Bold, clear image. Clean. Tiny corner creases. Minor edge and corner wear. 8" x 10." From the collection of former boxer Vince Handley who marked the back that Walker signed this at a dinner for him in Merchantville, New Jersey on May 3, 1962.
