He defended the title once before losing it to Jack Dempsey on July 4, 19191 in Toledo, Ohio. Offered here is an original ink signature of Jess Willard on a cut paper. Authenticated by PSA/DNA.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, white cut paper measuring 1 1/2" x 5." Signed in blue ink, "Jess Willard Aug. 27th/51." Not creased. Tape residue otherwise clean front and back. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA with cert # 84912116.
