WILLIAMS, CLEVELAND SIGNED WIRE PHOTO (1966)

On November 14, 1966 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali defended his title against long time contender Cleveland "Big Cat" Williams. In a fight in which Ali dominated throughout Williams was completely outclassed. Many ring experts felt this may have been Ali's finest hour as a fighter. Williams was stopped in the third round. Offered here is an original wire photo depicting Ali landing a right hand, which has been signed by Cleveland Williams.
