WILLIAMS, IKE-BEAU JACK I WIRE PHOTO (1948)

On July 12, 1948 at Shibe Park in Philadelphia world lightweight champion Ike Williams defended his title against Beau Jack. Williams stopped Jack in the 6th round. Presented here is a vintage wire photo depicting Williams pummeling Jack in the final round.
This photo measures 6 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches. The photo has minor edge and corner wear. The bottom border has some light rust colored stain. The image is clean. Not creased.
