ZIVIC, FRITZIE HAND COLORED LARGE FORMAT PHOTOGRAPH (1940'S)

Fritzie Zivic was born on May 8, 1913 in Pittsburgh, PA. He won the World Welterweight Title on October 4, 1940 in a bout against Henry Armstrong. Zivic fought a long list of champions of this era including: Sugar Ray Robinson, Beau Jack, Jake LaMotta, Tommy Bell, Lew Jenkins, Freddy Cochrane, Sammy Angott, Billy Conn, Lou Ambers and Johnny Jadick. He retired after his final bout on January 17, 1949 against Eddie Steele. His final record was 157-65-10. Offered here is a large format, colorized photograph of Fritzie Zivic.
