BURNS, TOMMY ANTIQUE PHOTO

Tommy Burns was born on June 17, 1881 in Chesley, Ontario, Canada. He defeated Marvin Hart on February 23, 1906 to win the World Heavyweight Title. He eventually lost the title to Jack Johnson on December 26, 1908. He retired after losing to Joe Beckett on July 16, 1920 with a final record of 46-5-9 with 37 KO's. Presented here is rare original, first generation antique photograph of Tommy Burns.
This first generation, antique photo of Burns measures 4 inches by 6 1/4 inches framed to 7 inches by 9 inches.The photo shows just minor wear to the edges and some minor light wrinkling.The cardboard frame has edge and corner wear.The back of the frame has the studi stampins and Burn's name stamped and written in.The image is vivid.
