Jess Willard, The Pottawatomie Giant, defeated Jack Johnson in Havana, Cuba on April 5, 1915 with a controversial KO in the 26th round to win the Heavyweight Title. Presented here is a first generation, antique photo of the two in action from that bout.
This first generation, antique photo measures 5 inches by 8 inches.the upper right corner has a 1 1/2 inch piece missing.The three other corners also have smaller pieces missing.The edges show some wear.There are two light creases in the upper half of the photo.The back has writing in pencil and ink.The images are vivid.
