SHARKEY, JACK WIRE PHOTO (1926-WEIGHING IN FOR HARRY WILLS FIGHT)

Jack Sharkey was born on October, 26, 1902 in Binghamton, New York. He won the World Heavyweight Title on June 21, 1932 from Max Schmeling. He retired after losing to Joe Louis on August 18, 1936 with a final record of 38-14-3 with 14 KO's. Presented here is an antique wirephoto of Jack Sharkey weighing in for the Wills fight in 1926.
This is an original antique wirephoto of Sharkey.The photo measures 6 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches.The photo has corner damage on the upper right hand side.The other corners are soft.There is some aging spots on the photo.There is some wrinkling on the borders.The back has the attached wire info dated 1926.The images are clean.
