On March 25, 1904 at Woodward's Pavillion in San Francisco featherweights Young Corbett II and Jimmy Britt met in the main event. Britt won a 20 round decision. Offered here is an original, antique, first generation photograph showing the fighters squaring off before the start of the fight with referee Ed Graney in between which has been signed by Jimmy Britt.
This is an original, first generation, mounted photograph. Boldly signed in fountain pen, "To Joseph from James Britt." Not creased or torn. Bold, clear image. Clean with no staining. 7" x 9 1/2." The photograph itself is rare, but likely unique signed by Jimmy Britt.
