FOREMAN, GEORGE SIGNED CONTRACT (FOR PROPOSED FIGHT WITH JOE BUGNER-1977)

Offered here is an original fighter agreement between former world heavyweight champion George Foreman and the promoter Top Rank, Inc. for Foreman to fight Joe Bugner in February, 1977. Foreman twice signed this agreement, but the fight did not come off. Foreman fought Pedro Agosto in January, 1977 and retired for the first time following his March, 1977 fight with Jimmy Young.
This is an original, typed, 10 page agreement. Boldly signed twice by George Foreman on the 10th page in black ink. Clean. Not creased or torn. Minor corner and surface wear from handling. 8 1/2" x 11."
