ANGOTT, SAMMY SIGNED POSTCARD

Sammy Angott was born on January 17, 1915 in Washington, Pennsylvania. he won the World Lightweight Title from Lew Jenkins on December 19, 1941. He retired after losing to Sonny Boy West on August 8, 1950 with a final record of 97-27-8 with 23 KO's. Presented here is signed post card.
This signed post card measures 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches.The post card has been postmarked in 1970.There is a note written by Angott thanking someone for ticvkets.The note and signture are in ink and clean.The post card shows minor wear from being handled and mailed.Small crease on the bottom edge.
