HISTORY: Emile Griffith was born on February 3, 1938 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. He won the World Welterweight Title from Benny Paret on April 1, 1961. He won the World Middleweight Title on April 25, 1966 from Dick Tiger. He retired after losing to Alan Minter on July 30, 1977 with a final record of 85-24-2 with 1 no contest and 23 KO's. 

Presented here is a signed boxing glove of Emile Griffith. From the collection of a NYPD Police Captain who obtained this signature in person in New York City.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a red leather, left hand boxing glove with an Everlast label at the wrist. Signed across the backhand in black sharpie. No noticeable flaws. 12 ounce boxing glove.
