HISTORY: Max Baer fought Primo Carnera on June 14, 1934 for the World Heavyweight Title. Baer won by TKO in the 11th round. This was one of the most brutal fights in heavyweight championship history. Carnera absorbed a horrible beating before the fight was finally halted. Presented here is an original wire photo depicting former champion Jack Dempsey and current champion Primo Carnera clowning around at Carnera's training camp for the Baer fight.
