GAVILAN, KID SIGNED PHOTO (STINSON LOA)

Kid Gavilan of Cuba won the World Welterweight Title on May 18, 1951 defeating Johnny Bratton by 15 round decision. He successfully defended this title six times. He had victories over Carmen Basilio, Billy Graham, Beau Jack, Ike Williams, and Gil Turner. He retired in 1958 with a career mark of 107-30-6. Presented here is a signed photo of Kid Gavilan with LOA from Jim Stinson.
