LOUIS, JOE SIGNED GOLDEN GLOVES PROGRAM (1953)

Joe Louis was born on May 13, 1914 in Lafayette, Alabama. On June 22, 1937 he won the World Heavyweight Title from James J. Braddock. He retired after losing to Rocky Marciano on October 26, 1951. His final record was 63-3. Presented here is a signed 1953 Golden Gloves Program that pictured Louis inside.
This is a signed and inscribed 1953 Seattle Gloden Gloves program by Joe Louis.The signature is in pen and clean.The program is 4 pages in length and measures 7 1/2 inches by 10 inches.The program has a horizontal crease across the top half.Also included is a letter to a relative on how the signature was obtained.
