MCPARTLAND, KID CABINET CARD

Kid McPartland was a professional lightweight boxer. He was born in New York on January 1, 1875. Began his professional career on February 27, 1895 and fought until April 28, 1905 amassing a record of 40-15-12. In his career McPartland fought many notables in his division including: Joe Gans, Rube Smith, George "Elbows" McFadden, Jimmy Handler. Matty Matthews and Barbados Joe Walcott. McPartland died on February 20, 1953 at the age of 78. Offered here is an original cabinet card of Kid McPartland.
