On September 25, 1962 at Empire Pool, Wembley in London former middleweight champion Sugar Ray Robinson fought tough British star Terry Downes in an important division matchup. Downes prevailed winning a ten round decision. Offered here is an original, large format photograph of Sugar Ray Robinson posing with unidentified man and woman before his fight with Downes. Taken while Robinson was in London preparing for the fight.
