Joe Louis fought Jim Braddock on June 22, 1937 at Comiskey Park in Chicago for the Heavyweight Championship. Louis, down early in the fight rallied and knocked Braddock out in the 8th round to win the World Heavyweight Title. Offered here is a full, roving photographer's credential pass used to gain admittance to the fight.
This is an original pass with stub attached. It names the fighters and includes a seat number. Bold print. Not creased or torn. Minor edge wear. Minor stain at lower left. Some back damage from mounting. Extremely scarce with the stub. Irregularly shaped to 3 1/4" x 5."
