HISTORY: Billy Conn fought Bob Pastor on September 6, 1940 at the Polo Grounds in New York. The fight had been postponed from August 13. Conn knocked Pastor out in the 13th round. Pastor was counted out after taking a left hook to the body. He was also knocked down for a 7-count at the bell in the 9th and for a 9-count in round 12. Presented here is an original, full, unused ticket to this event.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Paper on back from being mounted in an album. Not creased or torn, but does have several small compressions. Minor edge and corner wear. Clean. 2 3/4" x 7 1/4."
