CORBETT, JAMES J. CABINET CARD

James J. Corbett was born on September 1, 1866 in San Francisco, California. He won the World Heavyweight Title from John L. Sullivan on September 7, 1892. He retired after losing to Jim Jeffries on August 14, 1903 with a final record of 11-4-2 with 2 no contests and 7 KO's. Presented here is a cabinet card of Corbett.
This cabinet card of Corbett measures 4 1/4 ic=nches by 6 1/2 inches.The card shows just very minor wear to the edges and corner.There is the number 20 written on the front ,probably easily removed.The back has some writing in pen.The image is vivid.
