DEFOREST, JIMMY WEST VIRGINIA REFEREE LICENSE (1932)

immy DeForest was an early 20th Century trainer of such future legendary boxers as Stanley Ketchel and Jack Dempsey. He later became a boxing matchmaker at the Polo Grounds. DeForest also trained: James J. Jeffries, Joe Gans, George Dixon, Joe Walcott, Kid McCoy, Tommy Ryan, Philadelphia Pal Moore, Jack Sharkey and Luis Angel Firpo. He also promoted the Harry Greb vs. Mickey Walker bout. Offered here is the original 1932 West Virginia Referee License of Jimmy DeForest.
