HISTORY: On July 19-22, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas the United States conducted their Olympic Boxing Trials. Among the competitors were future world heavyweight champion Larry Holmes (who lost in the semi finals to Nick Wells), future world lightweight champion Arturo Frias (who lost in the semi finals), Eddie Gregory (Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, who lost in the finals to Jesse Valdez), and finalist winners Duane Bobick, Sugar Ray Seales, Marvin Johnson and Davey Armstrong. 

Offered here is an original official program for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Boxing Trials including the three insert programs for the events on July 19, 20, 21, 1972.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, official program which consists of 64 pages complete plus covers and three 4 page insert programs for the events on those days. The event programs have winners circled in pencil. These insert programs have creasing and minor edge wear. All are clean. The main program is not creased or torn, has minor cover soiling, tight binding and is complete. 8 1/2" x 11."
