ALI, MUHAMMAD-CLEVELAND WILLIAMS FIGHT ENVELOPE (1966)

On November 14, 1966 at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali defended his title against long time contender Cleveland "Big Cat" Williams. In a fight in which Ali dominated throughout Williams was completely outclassed. Many ring experts felt this may have been Ali's finest hour as a fighter. Williams was stopped in the third round. Offered here is a scarce original fight envelope which advertised this event.
This is an original, used fight envelope which names the fighters and includes information on the event. Stamped. Torn along the right edge with some paper loss at lower right. Small crease at lower left corner. Sent to Hall Of Famer Jack Fiske. Clean. 4" x 9."
