ARMSTEAD, PAULIE SIGNED PHOTO POSTCARD

Paulie Armstead (B-3/3/37-D-11/25/2006) was a lightweight challenger who fought from 1955 until 1970 amassing a final record of 55-22-4. Armstead fought many of the great lightweights of the era including Joe Brown, Dave Charnley, Len Matthews, Eddie Perkins, Kenny Lane, and Battling Torres. Offered here is a very scarce photo postcard of Paulie Armstead which he has signed and inscribed.
This is an original, unused photo postcard of Armstead in fight pose. Signed in ink, "Best Regards Joe Bloom Paul Armstead." Not creased or torn. Tape remnants on back from mounting. Bold, clear image and print. Very minor edge wear. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2."
