On February 17, 1958 at the St. Nicholas Arena in New York middleweights Gene "Ace" Armstrong and Charley Joseph fought in the main event. Armstrong avenged a loss to Joseph when they were in the army together by winning a unanimous ten round decision over Joseph. Offered here is an original wire photo which depicts 4th round action.
