On September 23, 1972 at the War Memorial in Syracuse, New York former world welterweight champion Billy Backus, fighting as a super welterweight, met Dorman Crawford in the main event. Backus stopped Crawford in the 8th round. Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event which is signed by Billy Backus. Backus signed the poster at the Boxing Hall Of Fame on June 7, 2003.
